Come and create a unique tote bag with some nature printing or build a bug hotel from recycled materials.

Adult Class

Come along to create a beautiful floral arrangement using  treated Italian crepe paper. You will learn how to cut, shape and construct these sweet flowers, to make them look as natural as possible. Take them home in a white ceramic vase ready to display or gift!

Come and learn pyrography, the decorative art of wood burning. You will take home a beautiful wooden  decorator’s board with a motif of your choice and an electric pyrography tool to continue exploring your new-found skills. If you already have a pyrography tool of your own, you can opt to buy a 'no tool' ticket at a reduced price.

The Young Crafters program builds on basic knowledge already developed by children at this age. We introduce a variety of processes and materials to further extend fine motor and problem-solving skills.

Children: Age 9+

If your child loves drawing and is looking to improve their skills, then these sessions are for you. We will cover the basics of drawing such as appropriate materials and mark making techniques. The classes focus mainly on observational drawing, the foundation skill for successful art making. This will allow for exploration of art elements such as form through shape and shading, space through an understanding of perspective, and colour theory with the use of coloured pencils and oil pastels. We will look at both historical and contemporary artists for inspiration with our still life and landscape compositions.

Adult Class

Creativity and playfulness are key to infusing our lives with joy. Moments taken to regulate our nervous system, reconnect us with wonder, cultivate curiosity and practice self-compassion, are what we should all strive for. Join us in Calm Creatives as we scribble, squeeze, arrange, smoosh and breath our way into our evenings. Each session holds a moment to connect and loosen up with a different creative craft activity. We will play with different techniques whilst using a variety of materials such as clay, fibres, paper, metals and nature.
